Well Mrs CG and I agreed on something this week, neither of us really want to live in Florida again (then the whole election thing, boy do Floridians look dumb now, lol), for a multitude of reasons, but mainly because its just too damned hot. 25 years there was enough for me.

We have spent the last 2 months discussing with some of our CF friends the areas in which they live. What they like, what they dont like, crime, average cost of living, etc.. and from listening to friends in SoCal, the "deep south", midwest, and north east we decided the things we heard about Virginia sounded more like what we want in life.

So on November 27th Kelly flies back here to Oregon, and we head out on the road the next day Virginia bound. We were both able to get transfers with our jobs (although I will be feverishly looking to get back into the cigar biz very soon after our arrival), and all thats left to do is nail down our new home.

That of course is the toughest, and I want to publicly thank 2 of my dearest friends for helping us out in our quest for a new abode..... Padron Slave, and Gary. Between helping to locate the new "Casa de CG" and snatching up the flight for Kelly while I was scatterbrained from sleep depravation, Bruce has done so much already that I am forever in debt to him. Love ya Bruce.

So anyway, my apologies to those down south who we had planned to see on the Fla trip. Jon, Miki, Brian, Brent, Wade, Amy, Maria, and the rest... some of my greatest partying memories have been with you, and I was really looking forward to more.

When we nail down the exact route we will be driving, we would love to see anyone that is in our path. So watch for whenever I post the map, and LMK.... We'd love to herf with some of the Northern CF freaks! <IMG SRC='/cf4/images/smiley/smiley02.gif' BORDER=0 WIDTH=15 HEIGHT=15>
